We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Herefordshire - Adults Locality Team Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Adults Locality Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services to vulnerable adults in the Herefordshire area.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of social workers, support staff, and other professionals within the team. Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet the needs of service users and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to promote independence and well-being. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and services provided, making recommendations for improvements as necessary. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, maintaining high standards of professional practice and ethical conduct.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a social work setting, preferably in adult services. Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult social care.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team in Herefordshire on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support and services to individuals and families within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Assessing the needs of service users and developing care plans Providing counseling and advocacy services Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies Monitoring and reviewing the progress of service users Ensuring the safeguarding and well-being of vulnerable individuals
