Role Overview:

As a Refuge Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Your responsibilities will include ongoing risk assessment, individual safety planning, and providing both emotional and practical support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:Demonstrating sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people.Working with high-risk clients to ensure their safety and well-being.Conducting thorough risk and needs assessments.Collaborating with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive support.Assisting vulnerable adults affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse, sexual abuse, housing issues, mental health challenges, homelessness, or those who are ex-offenders.Essential Requirements:A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo one.A deep commitment to the well-being and safety of vulnerable individuals.
