As a member of our LAC Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and young people. Building trusting relationships with children, families, and foster carers to promote stability and well-being. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and adherence to statutory requirements. Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate support services and resources. Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence as required.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England and a minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience in children’s social work. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks related to child welfare and safeguarding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
