As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing urgent referrals, providing immediate support, and ensuring the welfare of children in need. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe environments and enhancing the wellbeing of children across our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in crisis situations. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to address immediate risks. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence as required.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
