We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Bury - AP - Family Safeguarding Team. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to families in need, with a focus on safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for families to address safeguarding concerns. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children and families. Delivering evidence-based interventions and support services to promote positive change and sustainable family relationships. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions in line with professional standards and legal requirements.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within a safeguarding or child protection setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families and partner agencies. Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in social work practice.
