We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Cared for Children team in Rochdale. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding children who are in care, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children in care Working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to provide holistic support Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations Advocating for the best interests of the children and ensuring their voices are heard Providing crisis intervention and support during challenging situations

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards
