Join our dedicated Leaving Care Team in Birmingham as a Quality Assurance & Improvement Officer. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to enhance the quality of care and support provided to young people transitioning from care. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our services meet high standards and are continuously improving to meet the needs of our young people.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting regular quality assurance audits and evaluations of leaving care services. Developing and implementing improvement plans based on audit findings. Collaborating with social workers and other stakeholders to ensure best practices are followed. Providing training and support to staff on quality assurance processes and improvements. Gathering feedback from young people to inform service development and enhancement.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant degree in Social Work or a related field. Experience in social work, particularly within leaving care or youth services. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with young people and staff.
