Join our dedicated team in Nottingham as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) within the Emergency Duty Team (EDT). We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to provide high-quality mental health support and interventions during out-of-hours services. This role is vital in ensuring that individuals in crisis receive the appropriate care and support they need, while working collaboratively with various stakeholders in the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting mental health assessments and evaluations in emergency situations. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Providing crisis intervention and support to individuals and their families. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, social services, and law enforcement to ensure comprehensive care. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments and interventions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant professional qualification in mental health (e.g., Social Work, Nursing, Psychology). Current registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC). Significant experience in mental health practice and crisis intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in mental health care.
