As a Qualified Social Worker in the Children Looked After Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring that their voices are heard and understood. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Conducting regular reviews of care plans and making necessary adjustments to meet changing needs. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly within a looked after children context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child welfare and safeguarding.
