Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Denbighshire County Council is seeking an experienced QSW to join our Children and Young People Services (CYPS) team. As a QSW in our CYPS, you will be responsible for a variety of key duties, including:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare and safety of children. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children. Providing support and guidance to children and young people, helping them to navigate challenges. Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Care Wales (or eligibility to register). Proven experience working within children’s social services, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
