Are you an experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting children with disabilities? Torbay is looking for a dedicated Locum Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities Team on a maternity cover contract.

We need a Qualified Social Worker with:

Proven experience in Children with Disabilities (CWD) services

A solid understanding of statutory duties and safeguarding practices

The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

Competitive hourly rate up to £40 per hour for the right candidate

Accommodation allowance for those needing to relocate or stay locally

Hybrid working model - part-office, part-home based (Wi-Fi or dongle required)

Opportunity to make a real impact in a focused, specialist team

Participate in the duty system (office-based)

Undertake statutory visits and build relationships with families

Maintain accurate and timely records

Liaise with multi-agency partners to ensure holistic support for children and families
