We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Wakefield, specializing in Children in Care (CIC) and Looked After Children (LAC). As a CIC/LAC Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of each child. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to provide holistic support. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their needs are met. Advocating for children's rights and best interests in various settings, including court proceedings. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree or Masters in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly within a CIC/LAC framework. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
