Key responsibilities in this role include:
Conducting assessments of foster carers and ensuring they meet the required standards. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual children's needs. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, including training and guidance. Collaborating with local authorities, schools, and health services to ensure holistic support for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly within fostering or adoption services. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children, families, and professionals.
