Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Wrexham's Family Support Team is seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to support families in need, ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting positive outcomes in the community.
As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing tailored support plans for children and families. Providing direct support and intervention to families, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to coordinate services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with relevant legislation. Participating in team meetings and case reviews to share insights and strategies for improvement.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Registered with Social Care Wales or eligible for registration. Experience in children and family social work, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
