Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Hertfordshire, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will assess the needs of children and their families, ensuring that they receive the appropriate support and services. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting thorough assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with multi-agency teams to achieve the best outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in accordance with statutory requirements. Developing and implementing tailored care plans that address identified needs and risks. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Engaging with families and children to build trusting relationships and facilitate positive change. Collaborating with colleagues, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to support.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.
