Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? CAFCASS is seeking a qualified Children's FCA (Family Court Advisor) to join our team in London. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding the welfare of children involved in family court proceedings, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are prioritized.

As a Children's FCA, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to inform court decisions. Preparing and presenting reports to the family court, highlighting the needs and wishes of the children. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including social services, legal representatives, and educational professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families throughout the court process. Maintaining accurate and confidential case records, adhering to CAFCASS policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent analytical and report-writing capabilities.
