Join our dedicated Children's ATM - CP Team in Swindon as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring that their best interests are always at the forefront of your practice. Your expertise will help in assessing risks, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with families and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing child protection plans in line with statutory requirements. Providing direct support and intervention to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within child protection and safeguarding frameworks. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to partnership working.
