Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a dedicated Children's AP - CIN Team professional to join our dynamic team in Darlington. In this role, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support children in need and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing, implementing, and reviewing child protection plans and support strategies. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to facilitate effective communication and support. Providing guidance and support to families to empower them in making informed decisions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with legal and organizational standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with the relevant social work regulatory body. Proven experience working with children in need, preferably within a statutory setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
