Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support.

  • Managing a caseload of complex cases, providing intervention and support to children and their families.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with families.
