As a Qualified Social Worker within the FRT, you will be responsible for a range of key duties, including:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing intervention plans tailored to individual circumstances.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic support for children and families.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, including crisis intervention.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in frontline settings.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
