To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working within a children’s social work setting, particularly in Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare.
