Job description
This role is part of a team that manages young people who have received an Out of Court Disposal: Community Resolutions, Youth cautions and Youth Conditional Cautions. This pre-court work requires skills I work effectively with cases that last up to three months . The practitioner should have strong case management skills in timely assessments, appropriate interventions and suitable exit strategies. Whilst the offences for which a yp gets a OOCD may appear minor , there maybe other risky behaviour and factors that may be of influence: CCE, CSE, harm to others, serious/potential youth violence., negative peer influenceThis post is in Southwark YOS Intake cluster. Southwark YOS is an innovative borough with a high level of young people who are involved in gangs and knife crime .
