Job description

Are you a qualified social worker who can meet the following criteria? We need you to join our Fostering Team, based in West London, starting on 18/01/2021.

Personal Skills:

  • diligent
  • passionate
  • positive outcome focused

Professional Experience:

  • HCPC registered
  • A thorough working understanding of the UK National Standards for Foster Care, Code of Practice and Fostering Services Regulations
  • Able to assess new foster carers’ suitability
  • Experience of updating Form Fs for existing carers
  • Able to recruit, assess, train and support foster carers providing a whole range of foster care to children requiring placements
  • Responsible for own caseload
  • Experience of producing and updating reports detailing both initial and continuing approvals
  • Able to devise and facilitate training programmes
  • Able to improving the services to children ‘Looked After’ and their carers
  • Offering post placement support

If you have the relevant experience, a proven ability to establish trusting relationships with carers, and can act, at all times, to promote equality of opportunities we would like to hear from you.
