Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join our West London-based team with effect from 10/08/2020.

If you are HCPC registered and hold a social work degree or other professional qualification relevant to the role (eg DipSW, CQSW, BASW) then please read on.

As part of this busy team, you will be responsible for conducting interviews with individuals and families and using these to assess and review their situation. You'll offer information and support, ultimately organising and managing packages of support to enable people to lead the fullest lives possible.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate experience of undertaking and writing up assessments (sometimes in collaboration with other professionals), which meet specified standards and timescales. The ability to determine and recommend the best course of action for a particular person or family is essential.

Applicants should be committed team-workers, used to liaising with, and making referrals to, other agencies and working within multidisciplinary teams.

The experience and confidence to maintain accurate records, prepare reports for legal action and occasionally give evidence in court is also desirable.
