Job description

We are currently recruiting for a qualified social worker, with 3-5 years’ experience to work with our children’s service based in North East. The start date for this role is 03/06/2020.

The role will provide an excellent opportunity for applicants to further their career in social work alongside a friendly and dynamic team, dedicated to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities will include working on a dedicated caseload, devising individual care plans as well as assessing, monitoring and reviewing the social care needs of the chidlren. In addition, the successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to conduct interviews with individuals and families, writing reports which summarise findings. It may also be necessary to prepare reports for subsequent legal action.

The role will be excellent for developing skills and building a reputation for the right candidate.

There will be a requirement to take action in conjunction with partner agencies and, as such, the successful candidate will require excellent communication skills and a good working knowledge of relevant legislation alongside HCPC registration and a social work or other professional qualification (eg: DipSW, CQSW, BASW)
