Job description

We are conducting a search for an enthusiastic, qualified social worker who would like to further their career and build their reputation in the field of children’s protection services.

With a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience, candidates will form part of a team that provides an exceptional service to children with social care needs. It is based in East London and has a start date of 30/03/2020.

Responsibility for a dedicated caseload is at the core of this role but responsibilities also stretch to supporting the team, and partner agencies, with ensuring the existing service is appropriate. This will involve monitoring, assessing, reviewing and report writing, as required.

To fulfil the requirements of the role, individuals will need to be HCPC registered with a social work or other professional qualification e.g. DipSW, CQSW, BASW as well as possessing excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and a deep understanding of the philosophies and legal framework of professional social work.
