Job description

Role: Qualified Adult Social Worker
Location: West Midlands
Start Date: 08/03/2020.

Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a social work degree or other professional qualification relevant to the role (eg DipSW, CQSW, BASW).

You will be required to:

  • assess, monitor and review the existing care needs of vulnerable individuals;
  • assess potential risks, protection and social care needs of individuals and carers;
  • devise individual care plans;
  • liaise with other agencies;
  • manage an agreed caseload.

Skills Required:

  • excellent attention to detail;
  • in-depth working knowledge of legislation;
  • first-class communication skills
  • proficient understanding of philosophies, professional social work issues and the legal framework
