Job description

Do you have the ability to lead, motivate, nurture and manage a team of Social Workers? Are you able to ensure an effective service is delivered resulting in positive outcomes?

We are looking for our next Team Manager with strong supervisory and management skills and a wish to make a difference in a collaborative environment, starting 02/03/2020 in Wales.

You will be accountable for the practice of social workers within your team by taking professional responsibility for the provision of a high quality response service. We are looking for candidates who hold a significant amount of experience in social work practices and who have shown consistency and commitment in improving outcomes for children. You will be required to effectively determine priorities, assess need and ensure the safeguarding of children whilst guiding your team through any practice issues/concerns they might have. You should be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory framework.

Good knowledge of statutory legislation and practice standards is essential.

To apply you must hold a BA/BSc/MA in Social Work (or equivalent) and be Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered and have significant previous experience in a social work role.

The successful candidate can expect a highly rewarding role with a talented and hard-working team.
