Youth Offending

Youth Offending, or YOT, teams work with young people who have committed an offence, or are considered high risk of doing so.  Social Workers within these teams meet with young people in care and other groups who are at high risk of offending (including those who have a formal reprimand/warning from the police, or those on bail) and those who have offended previously; working with them to prevent (re)offending. This can be through offering support with schooling, drug & alcohol advice, leisure activities, or working directly with their families.

If you are GSCC registered and have experience of working with Youth Offending we would love to hear from you!
