Children & Disabilities

Children & Disabilities teams are similar in structure, and work closely with, the Children & Families teams within Social Services. Children & Disabilities Social Workers undertake work including a varying proportion of care planning and child protection work; facilitating access to services including advice & information, counselling, family support, domiciliary support, short breaks and direct payments. Social Workers are assisted within the team by Family Support Workers and Assistant Social Workers.

If you are GSCC registered or have experience of working with Children & Disabilities we would love to hear from you!
