Caritas has decided that the charity Tiny Tickers will be our Charity of the Year for 2011. The charity aims to improve the detection, care and treatment of heart disease in babies, before they are born. Tiny Tickers provides practical training and education to maternity hospitals across the UK.
Everyone here at Caritas agrees that this is a very worthwhile cause, and we will be holding various events throughout the year to raise money for the charity. More information about the charity can be found at

One of our longstanding employees, Lowenna Casley, will be taking part in the Big Heart Bike Ride in June. This is a 400km bike race across Tanzania, which I am sure you will agree is no mean feat!
