Caritas- Residential

Residential Care can be for Adults or Children and Young People.

Adult Residential Care is available to people who cannot continue living in their own home. Service users can stay in residential care for a short period (known as respite care) or over longer period, or permanently. A residential care home normally provides accomodation, meals and personal care.

Residential Care for Children ensures that the needs of children are met when they cannot live with their own family. When children and young people come to live in a Children's Home they will have a Care Plan which details all aspects of their care. Most children will go home, but a few go to live with other families and a few go to live in other homes. Young people who are not planning to return home are given help to prepare them for living on their own.

If you have experience working in residential care we would love to hear from you!
