Candidate Vetting

Before we submit any candidates, we ensure that they comply with our rigorous vetting criteria, so that you can feel assured that you only interview suitable candidates.

Interview
We conduct an in-depth interview with each candidate when they register with us. These personal suitability interviews assess each candidate's suitability to undertake a role within the social care sector.

CRB checks
All of our candidates have an enhanced CRB check which are renewed every twelve months.

References
We obtain at least five years written employment references for every candidate, and do not represent candidates who have unsatisfactory references.

Qualifications
We validate all required qualifications, and, for our Qualified Social Workers, we conduct monthly online checks to ensure that they are registered on the GSCC.

Work eligibility
We require proof of every candidate's legal status to work in the UK.

Caritas is audited annually to ensure it is meeting the required quality standards

REC Membership
As a member we actively promote the code of practice and its principles internally.
