Adoption & Fostering

Roles within these teams are generally specialised within either adoption (Permanence) or fostering (Family Placement). Social Workers focused on adoption work are involved in ‘family finding’ services on behalf of children; they carry out assessments and provide support to potential adoptive parents. Within fostering, Social Workers focus predominantly on the recruitment, preparation and assessment of potential foster carers.

If you are GSCC registered and have experience of working with Adoption & Fostering we would love to hear from you!
